About the Filmmaker

Nicola studied film as part of her degree at the University of Southampton and has undertaken additional professional training at FilmOxford. 

 

 

Nicola works with local organisations and businesses to make films in the community, conservation and environmental space. 

 

 

She is chair and co-founder of Watlington Climate Action, on the Board of CAG Oxfordshire, a network of 100 communty action groups, and creator of the Watlington Folk social documentary photography project.

Beneath The Surface

A river once crystal clear and teeming with life

Sharing Pigments

A short film documenting a project to collect pigments from trees around Oxfordshire and the process of turning them into paints, which were then used to create an abstract artwork by artist Jules Bishop.
 

The artwork and film were shown at Oxford Firestation and on a subsequent touring exhibition.
